Ugh! I feel like I’ve been on the go non-stop for the past several days. The sad part about it is that I haven’t actually gotten all that much accomplished.
For the most part I’ve been spending all my time either at work or school. It seems like if I’m not one place then I’m at the other and it’s got me itching for a vacation…preferably soon.

Last week I got out of class a bit early and realized that I’d started to get the “driving itch” again, so I called up Kyle and we decided to play the left right game a bit. Basically you drive and someone picks left or right. You turn that direction and then take the next turn in the opposite direction and just continue on like that. We played for about an hour and realized something very significant about playing the game in Pittsburgh v. playing at home.
Left/Right in Bradford County: Play for an hour and end up on creepy dirt back-road in the middle of nowhere
Left/Right in Pittsburgh: Play for an hour and end up….in Pittsburgh
We did get pretty turned around for a while though, and saw a lot of nice houses / developments out in the Brentwood / Whitehall area.

Eventually we just kept driving and ended up in Washington, PA. Ended up scouting out The Meadows, which is somewhere Kyle and I will probably be spending a LOT of time this coming race season, and we also checked out the Tanger Outlets. Other than that the trip was pretty uneventful and we made it back home by midnight.
Saturday was my busy day. My Multimedia class is filming a play that our school’s theater company is putting on so we can produce a DVD of the performance for them. Had to show up at the theater early to get everything set up: including hanging microphones from the grid. Nobody else at setup was willing to go up into the grid with our professor, so I ended up doing it… If you’ve never climbed up a 25ft completely vertical ladder…it’s quite an experience. Especially if you’re terrified of heights like me. But I did it, and I’m proud of myself for doing it! Once we got things set up, I had a bit of free time before the actual play started so I spent a few hours just hanging around and doing nothing. Filming the play was uneventful, and hopefully everything went well because I do not want to have to go back and film again next weekend.
After the play I went to Kyle’s house because he and his new roommate Kaleb were having a house warming party. There weren’t too many people there and we ended up playing Kings. I don’t drink that often, so I’m pretty much a lightweight when it comes to alcohol. I also rarely ever play drinking games because of that fact and because of the fact that I suck at them. Needless to say I ended up crashing at Kyles and waking up with not that much time to spare before I needed to leave for work. And of course I spent all day feeling like crap because of it. I still can’t figure out why my left leg hurts so much though…but I’m supposing that it has something to do with climbing up into the grid and not being able to stand upright while up there.
Now I’m just sitting around watching Pirates of the Caribbean and thinking about trying to sleep away the rest of this head ache, so I shall leave you with one last pic…decided to show off my tattoo a bit.

Whitney is a twenty-six year old girl living in Pittsburgh, PA. She's a retail slave and aspiring programmer by day, and a (slightly) rabid fangirl and tech-head by night. When she doesn't have her face glued to the screen and a barcode scanner is nowhere in site you can usually find her spazzy dancing to Electronic, burning out on video games, and habitually watching late-night informercials.
